With sustainability seal
The Eintracht Stadium has been awarded the Green Globe sustainability seal for the first time. The award assesses the sustainability commitment and strategy of companies in the event and tourism industry. After the Olympiastadion Berlin, the Eintracht Stadium is only the second stadium in Germany to successfully complete the Green Globe assessment process using an extensive catalog of criteria. The assessment criteria for Green Globe certification are based on three pillars under the broad heading of sustainability.
Sustainable refurbishment
The Stadthalle Braunschweig, our listed building on St. Leonhard, is currently undergoing sustainable refurbishment. Among other things, renewable energies are being planned for its future operation. For example, photovoltaic systems are to be installed on unused roof areas of the Stadthalle. The reopening is planned for 2028. The social media channels of the building construction division of Struktur-Förderung Braunschweig "Wir schaffen Räume" provide regular updates on the current status of the renovation of Stadthalle Braunschweig.
